Let’s Talk

Conceptual Shillington campaign for New York State’s Department of Labor entitled “Let’s Talk.” Created in 2020 - during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic - this campaign brings awareness to the Department’s many services in addition to giving them a friendlier and more helpful appearance at a time when New York unemployment rates were skyrocketing. To illustrate the idea of the Department’s services coming together in a clear and concise form, I created a type that visualizes the idea of “de-coding", and all the information falling into place. This campaign includes postcard outreach, collaborative metro cards, subway ads and an updated app.

This project won the 2020 GDUSA American Graphic Design Award and was featured on Shillington’s Blog.
